We had a baby shower for a friend here this weekend. Baby boy Silas should be here any day now. Big sister Jaya is going to be a huge help (even if she's only 15 months old) because she already knows where to put the dirty diapers after changing. Way to go, Jaya!
Helping the family prepare for all the visitors at the hospital. There is an Arab tradition here where the families have a basket at the hospital filled with fancy chocolates wrapped up like the one in the picture below. Anyone who comes to visit the family at the hospital is given one of these as a thank you gift. We got our friends ready by wrapping the chocolates and decorating the basket at the shower.
