Floaters

Our friends from AR really enjoyed their experience floating on the Dead Sea, even if the temperatures down at that level of the earth were around 105 with 150% humidity!

Sand and Sunsets

We recently had a group of friends come to visit from AR. We showed them one of our favorite spots - Wadi Rum. Unfortunately, we got there too late for a normal jeep tour, but fortunately we found a guy to take them on a new route to an area of the desert we had never seen. It was beautiful.

Trying to get some air.

Contemplating life.

The half-way mark....

Well, 20 weeks has come and gone. Daniel counted, we have 141 days left to go if we hit our due date exactly. I don't know how I feel about my belly growing for 141 more days. At least it will be getting cooler by then. I'm starting to make my list of everything that needs to get done before the baby comes. It includes everything from getting baby room ready to becoming fluent in arabic to learning to play the guitar. I have high aspirations for these next few months. We'll see...

So sorry we haven't posted in so long. Things have been a little busier than usual around here. We had some friends from AR come and visit, we'll post some pictures this week from their trip. We will also post some 'baby bump' pics in the next couple of days as I am officially half way through this pregnancy!

This weekend marks the beginning of Ramadan, the Muslim holy month. This is a great time to learn some new cultural to-do's. It's also a good time to avoid taxis at all costs. During the month, people will refrain from eating, drinking, and SMOKING from dawn until dusk. That equals some very grumpy taxi drivers and all drivers on the road for the most part. The lesson learned is - only go out at night. It's a good thing we live within walking distance from our office!

Stay tuned....pictures to come in a couple of days!
