I apologize, this post is a little delayed - we celebrated Easter here a couple of weeks ago which is one week earlier than the Eastern (or Orthodox) celebration of Easter. A group of us drove out to a park just outside the city. It was a pretty nice park; lots of pine trees, big rocks, picnic tables, etc. It was a work day so there were not too many people out and about in the park. But there were plenty of people trying to make a little money by bringing around horses, donkeys and camels for people to ride. With the group of kids we had with us, it was hard to say no to the camel ride! The kids were also able to enjoy a fun egg hunt with plenty of melted chocolate (we couldn't find jelly beans anywhere!). There was s group of local guys hanging out close by having a picnic. When the guys we were with were throwing a football around, the local guys wanted in. So all the guys started tossing the football and then the locals invited out guys over to eat some of their barbeque. It wasn't until after we left that I found out what Daniel and our other friends ate with those men - rabbit. Poor little Easter Bunny.
