I saw these pictures on Facebook from some other Americans we know. We haven't been out with our camera in a while so I thought I would steal their pictures and give you an idea of what "buying local" means here. These pictures are from downtown where there is a great market lining one whole street. Soon, I'll try to take some pictures of the neighborhood shops we go to for produce and bread.

Buying local means having the choice to buy one of the many downloaded dvd's.
I really don't know what kind of fruit this is. Something with spikey skin. We've never tried it. Maybe we'll buy some and let you know how it is.
